The first half of this fight was looking like FOTY but bertos non stop hugging and complete lack of stamina in the second half of the fight killed it. shame.

Well Ortiz did "some" of the hugging and was hitting behind the head but yea it was mainly Berto...he didn't have much left apparently... -
It's still my main vote for FOTY. They threw so many vicious wild bombs, and the fight was way more excited than most people expected it to be.Comment

Fight of the year is just as much about drama as it is about action. And the fact that both guys were capable of dropping the other just added to it... A KO could have happened at anytime... I mean, think about Khan vs Maidana... the first 9 rounds was Khan beating Maidana's ass with absolute ease... It wasn't fight of the year until the last 3 rounds...Comment

Yeah I was getting pissed with all the holding from Berto. If the ref took a point away from Ortiz for hitting behind the head he should of taken a point from Berto for excessive holding. Still FOY in my opinion though.Comment

We need more ****in hard warnings and point deductions. What's wrong with these refs. Its against the ****in rules. This problems persistent throughout sport and it should be addressed.Comment
