Old school commentators vs. Modern commentators.

Oh man, back then, the commentators were so boring that I can watch the fight without sound and it will still sounds the same. Modern commentators like Jim Lampley, Larry Merchant and Emmanuel Steward makes fights more interesting. They keep talking and talking and sometimes they crack me up. They are also good for boxing in my opinion.

Moderen commentators KO1 old school guys.

      Yeah I agree.

Al Berndstein is my favorite current announcer and I think he blows the old timers away.

      Except Cosell of course.

I like Manny Steward better even though he is against Pacquiao. Well, Larry Merchant is the funniest one lol

I thought Gil Clancy & Tim Ryan (CBS Sports) were the best team of announcers.
Gil Clancy knows the sport, inside & out....& Ryan was the perfect match for him.

                  new guys

as much as i hate merchant and bernstein they are definitely better than the guys that said one sentence a round.

my favorite commentator of all time is roy jones.

he calls stuff so perfectly, he said as soon as tito went to mayorgas body hed knock him down, and the first body shot he threw was the first kd on mayorga.

there is just so much stuff hes called so accurately.

foreman was funny but not good

i hope tyson eventually gets involved in commentating.

max kellerman is also good although id rather hear him after/before the fights give an analysis.
