    Ortiz-Maidana II

Make it happen! Maidana is struggling to make 140 and Ortiz has a belt at 147. It would be a great fight, and could go either way.

The outcome would depend on whether Maidana can take Ortiz's shots this time around, which I don't believe he can. If he does though, I can see him winning again with his pressure.

A win for Ortiz means he's erasing his questionable moment. A win for Maidana gives him a major title at WW, and adds to his list of great wins. Make it happen Golden Boy! And the winner gets the Khan-Bradley winner.

Even though Ortiz proved himself tonight, I still think he needs this fight. Make it happen

since ortiz said he talks to roach and manny, and even trained in the wildcard gym, the smart thing for him to do is work on his defense. in one of the middle rounds where ortiz got caught, but ended dropping berto right after, ortiz didn't keep his hands up. roach or some other person should deff work on his defense. maidana is overrated imo. dude is a wild man who only knows how to pressure a fighter and throw wild shots. ortiz dropped him before in their first fight, this time around, ortiz will dig deep like tonight, and finish him. it would be a great fight to watch because both like fighting and have power.

Exactly. It's not like Khan's situation where he was caught by a bum and doesn't need to do a rematch to prove anything. Maidana is still a top fighter and he made Ortiz quit. This one's personal.

I've been wanting to see that rematch for awhile.

Hopefully it happens but Maidana would probably get murked, who knows though. That's why we let the fighters fight the fights.

This fight would only be fair at a catchweight. Ortiz came into the ring weighing 161 pounds. Maidana last week rehydrated up to 153. Unless Maidana has a tune up fight at 147 first than this fight should be at a catchweight of 144 pounds.
