I've said from day one that Rahman is a poor fight.

Despite this fact, for a while, it looked like Vitali was intent on taking an even weaker fight. In ealry 2005, he was talking about how he needed a "tune up" before he could fight Rahman. Mid way through the year after the "evolving injury" he was doing everything he could to face a guy like Maskiev.

The point it, even though Rahman is a ****ty fight (which is what I've said all along), it needs to happen before the division comes any closer to being unified.

Rahman is hardly a joke. He's young enough and strong enough to be dangerous and likely going to be in better shape than he was for the first Lewis fight. And, no, Vitali was not ducking Rahman, he was ducking King. Non King fighters hate fighting King fighters in King matches. Vitali had been trying to land the Brock fight who is currently the top contender of any of the heavies with a recent victory over McCline but now has to deal with mandatory politics.

Let King continue to match his heavies against each other and stink up the joint after this bout. King is full of it.
