Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, to avenge Sr???

I haven't been on in a few days and didn't know that JCC was KO'd this past weekend by Grover Wiley in the 5th round. I went to Boxrec to see who this guy is, and it shows that he is now slated to fight JCC jr on nov 12. Is Jr ready to step up his game, or is this whole thing just a fix to blow up Jr.

I think he quit on his stool cause he injured his hand or something. So now his son said he will avenge the loss. Sr. also said he retires foor good and is not going to continue with his adios tour.

I agree i think it was sort of a hype up for his son. Chavez looked considerably troubled mentally before he even stepped in the ring... and once in the ring Chavez was easily the sharper quicker man between the two.

In the last round he simply stopped throwing on a few occasions and his opponent landed some decent shots and then he never came out.

The only thing i would be cautious about is that the guy was pretty big.

But considering Jr's decent pop.. i dont think it will be too much of a problem.
