Is Maidana over hyped?

As the Morales and Kahn fights were close and considering that Kahn wasnt really impressive on a world class level against McCloskey. Does Maidana as a benchmark victory mean anything?

I don't think he's overhyped he just doesn't live up to the huge expectations everybody puts on him. I think he takes his opponents to lightly because we all think it's gonna be an easy win. Like everybody thought he was gonna trash Khan in 2 rounds. Even me. Then everybody thought Morales would get trashed in 2 rounds. But this mans too wild. I don't think he has the 1 shot hitter quitter that a lot of people thought. He hits ****in hard but I don't think he's no Mike Tyson 1 shot stuff.

I still love him tho, always brings an exciting fight to the table. Straight bullies motha****as. I wanna see him vs Marquez or Judah now. Winner fights winner of Khan/Bradley to be undisputed.

Maidana aint too overhyped... boxers will always give him trouble, especially El Terrible.. and Khan cuz dude fast.. Marcos is good at what he is, a relentless brawler and mauler.

any ref that lets him do his thing, and he will decimate his opponent with that clinching work he does.

Of course recently refs haven't been letting him do such things... Joe Cortez.. Mr fair but firm. But Maidana could have beat Khan if he was allowed to maul him a bit like he is back at his homeland..
