That's all British fighters have to do to get praise.
See: Hatton, Matthew.
See: McCloskey, Paul.
Khan is British, McCloskey is Irish.
The only time Matt has ever got praise is when he stepped up in weight to take on a power puncher 6,000 miles from home as a massive underdog and putting in a credible 12 round performance.
Ok so is it just me or does Amir Khan talk so much BS it dosen't even make sense? Paul mccloskey took Amir Khans big shots and didn't go down so what makes Khan think Mccloskey was going to not only go down, but be knocked out in 2 more rounds? Secondly, Mccloskey wasn't a dead fighter in there, he was making Amir khan look silly and crude with alot of shots and Amir Khan was winning the fight because he threw more punches so obviously was going to land more, Mccloskey went in there to frustrate and tire Khan and then look for an opening later on, it was pretty obvious from watching, no-one should be saying that Khan was going to easily win this, Mccloskey clearly wasn't going to win on points but I think Khan may of had a couple of tough rounds towards the end as If he kept missing the amount of shots he was early on then he would of got tired, and in my opinion he didn't look himself or maybe its just that Mccloskey is a very underrated fighter that IMO is still undefeated, the loss he suffered should go down as a no contest on his record because he clearly was stopped by inadequate reffing and a over reaction from a doctor that really should go doctor some tiddly winks. Khan talks as if this fight was done when the ref ended it but there was still a possible storm for Khan to weather (not saying Khan was going to lose but it wasnt a fore gone conclusion IMO) Khan may be quick but I still dont think he is the complete package and If he really wants to fight mayweather my opinion is that he would get completely destroyed by a very skillful fighter that would counter him time and time again before possibly stopping him or maybe winning by UD, Oh and by the way, thats if khan can even get past timothy bradley, because based on this peformance, he might struggle!
I agree. The McCloskey camp was disgraceful for interrupting and heckling Oscar.
Why the **** were they heckling Oscar so much he was just doing his job and trying to be calm and they were interrupting and running their mouths constantly

McCloskey is from Northern Ireland which makes him British.
