Comments Thread For: Khan-McCloskey: Harsh Words Exchanged at Post Presser
Amir Khan rejected Barry Hearn's angry calls for a rematch against Paul McCloskey after the world title challenger complained bitterly about tonight's controversial cuts stoppage.
roach told khan, time to start that head work we've been working on, "when we're in trouble" and want a way out! the world knows it Amir. Give the man a rematch. why wouldnt you.??????????
I hope he doesnt give him a rematch, it'd be a waste of time and i for sure would not watch it.
Paul McCloskey posed absolute no threat to Khan, he was a frustrating boxer to watch, he barley threw more than 10 punches. It seemed like he was looking for a knock out punch because he had no speed, no technical ability to threaten Khan.
Controversy aside Pual McCloskey is frankly a s"it boxer.
If he had actually come to box and bring a fight to Khan, i'd be all for a rematch. The fact of the matter is he did not win a single round and threw only a handful of punches.

They and he dont deserve a rematch,he didnt come to fight,he made the fight bad by being awkard and not trying to land much and win rounds.
Khan looked less good than normal, but still dominated a uningaging fighter.
The stoppage was ******,the ref and dr. were awful, khan was hurting him more and more, and would have beaten him up and or stopped him.
dont write of khan for not looking sensational vs a slipperly southpaw who didnt try to win rounds, the bradley fight will be better for khan, bradley brings the fight and is not slick.
