                    POST-FIGHT INTERVIEW NOTES:

                    AMIR KHAN:
Khan says that he isn't the referee, so he doesn't know about the stoppage. But, he feels that Paul deserves credit for making the fight a bit harder for him. He thinks that it's the referees decision was his to make. He thinks that if the fight would have continued, he would have stopped him. He was winning the fight and would have stopped him. He doesn't feel that a rematch makes sense as he has no motivation for it. He wants to move up and fight at the world-class level. If the fight continues, he might have hurt Paul -- badly. Khan says he wants to fight every where, but he's listening to his team. But, he's happy to fight anywhere. It's amazing to fight in Manchester, even with a lesser payday. His next fight will be in America for bigger and better things. He thinks that he wants to unify the division and then move up to Welterweight, with the lieks of Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather. But, he never plans on fighting Pacquaio as they are good friends. He wishes he could have gotten the stoppage, but a win is a win.

                    FREDDY ROACH:
Roach thought that Paul might have quit, but he doesn't know what's going on. But, he's not a doctor, so he doesn't worry about it. He feels the stoppage was coming in that round, anyway. He thinks that Timothy Bradley is next and then maybe the winner of Victor Ortiz-Andre Berto fight. He feels that Khan's future is in America, but he'd love to get him fights in the U.K. as well.

                    OSCAR DE LA HOYA:
He thought it was a good fight and he thought Paul came motivated and ready to fight. He felt that Khan won every round, and it was a shut out. No one is a doctor besides the doctor. He feels that you never know what can happen with a fight and Khan was only getting better. Now, it's back to the States for bigger and better things. There are talks about fighting Bradley, but he's not chasing anyone. The fighters are chasing him. Oscar feels that Khan is a warrior and a champion and he can see Khan fighting in the U.K. in the not-too-distant future. First, it's Las Vegas and Los Angeles for now.

                    BARRY HERN [sic] (McCloskey's manager):
Feels the stoppage was unjust. It's boxing. It happens. Feels the referee and doctor should hang their heads in shame. Wasn't that bad of a cut and he's seen worse. Feels that it's a hollow victory. Doesn't blame Khan, just feels the referee shouldn't have stopped the fight. Plans to make a complaint to the BBC about the fight. He feels that Khan may have won, but we'll never know now. It's a hard, brutal game, but this happens. You have to accept it. He feels Paul's dream has been robbed from him. He feels the fans there and the PPV subscribers, have been robbed.

                    PAUL MCCLOSKEY:
He thinks that the fans were robbed. He also blames the referee and the doctor. Paul wanted to keep going because he thinks Khan was starting to tire out and he feels that he was about to start coming on. He's in shock. He worked his whole life for a fight like this. He doesn't feel like Khan is up there with the best for pound-for-pound consideration or for the Welterweight division as he feels that he could have beat him. He's going to sit down and plan out the next portion of his career.
