Can Victor Ortiz win tonight?

You think maybe coming up in weight might help his cardio? He look's like a beast now.

It can only do him more good coming up in weight. Ortiz looks in great shape, and strong, he's defiantly ready to test the waters at welterweight. Some are undermining Ortiz due to the fact Maidana made him quit - Berto doesn't have the sort of mentality to disorientate Ortiz like Maidana.

I'm predicting the fight to go to the cards, in a close fight. This fight is like 60/40 in favor of Berto, that's how close this is.

Ortiz winning isn't an upset either, Ortiz is well rounded and has top notch skills. He boxed beautifully vs Peterson in the first half of the first, then faded. Ortiz is a LIVE dog, and I really fancy his chances.

Berto has it all to do in my opinion.

Theres a reason y hes such a big underdog in this fight. No offense at all I dont mind Victor Ortiz, I think he brings it until he gets hit in the face from a man who can punch. But Berto is better in almost every category that u would use to breakdown a fight. Cept for punching power, as I think Berto's speed is his power as he hit you with punches ppl dont see coming ala Miguel Rodriguez whom Berto TKO'd with that vicious uppercut that Miguel never seen coming. His defense seems to lapse and hes able to be hit every so often, ala again when he was knocked down by a far lesser opponent in the 6th round by Cosme Riveria, but I think hes focused and will mixed use constant pressure and combos to keep Ortiz back peddaling on his way to a wide UD........

People are betting with their emotions. Not there heads. They hate Berto so much and they want Ortiz to knock him out. Yeah actually it might happen, there's a chance....but at the same time there's a chance hell can freeze over too. Doesn't mean it'll happen.

I think a lot of experts arepicking against Victor because of what happened in the Maidana fight and I don't think you can factor that into this fight. If anything I think this will help Victor. He was really young at the time and had probably never been i that position. I think he shocks a lot of people and wins this fight. LETS GO VICTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hahaha Hey my man Ive been wrong before plenty of time believe me....i just dont see this fight going any other way, and I dont think Berto stops Ortiz either cuz I dont see him taking huge risks in order to do so. I think he stalks Ortiz cuz he's not the same fighter going backwards as coming forward we all know that. I think he outjabs Ortiz and his straight right hand against a southpaw will be a huge punch even tho hes not known for it I think he must dictate the fight with his jab and straight right hand all night. If you see him landing those two punches early in the fight then that could spell for a long night for Victor Ortiz........

Yeah its all good. I got my faith in Ortiz tonight. I just hope I didn't buy into Berto's overratedness too much because the man can ****. He got skills. I think Ortiz' is going to be a huge test.
