All the people picking Ortiz by stoppage, specifically mid round stoppage, are not boxing fans, just emotional fanboys.

^^^yes he did. Other than Tim Smith repeating himself like 5 times, these were decent assesments of the fight. I'm hoping it's highly competitive, and Ortiz (there's a reason I bring him up) can make adjustments as the fight goes, Berto believes there's already a blueprint to beating Ortiz, and that's pressure along with straight rights...hopefully Ortiz can offset that plan and box smartly b/c he isn't going to out quick Berto, and probably won't out throw him either. In the end, give me a good fight, an entertaining scrap, and I'll be satisfied.

Prediction, I'm leaning towards Berto, but it's a good fight.

Shoot I really see this as an even fight; I think Ortiz has learned from his past mistakes and to be brutally honest I STILL think Luis Collazo beat Berto the first time around; that being said Ortiz still has proper fundamentals and is a slightly better boxer than Collazo.

i hope berto hugs and knocks ortiz out. can't believe victoria at the last minute started crying about anything after the quit fight and accepting a draw decision with peterson. he should've atleast said that he thought he won.why not? everybody else says it.

****, I'm still picking berto but I'm not sure if I'll be rooting for him anymore. Ortiz pissed me off with that madiana fight, but he won me over when he called out berto for being a care bear. I'll say this, victor looked great at the weigh in. Maybe the extra weight will help him? Who knows, I guess I'll wait till I'm hammered and the "patron" will help me figure out who to cheer for. Hopefully someone gets ktfo, at this point I won't be mad if either guy gets put to sleep.

He doesn't know how to box, he just comes out at you instantly, doesn't wear you down or anything. The moment Ortiz gets hit with big shots he'll quit.
Haha I'm just seeing this response to my post from before. I'm not going to rub it in though.
