Better yet how about b hop when he fought Tito(even tho he was the underdog in that fight). I could go on and on. You may be right about fighting Berto instead of Mosley but this is what really should have happened last year .... even after the Floyd fight.

Mosley fights Berto instead of Sergio Mora ..... then Manny takes on the winner.

Instead, when they (Manny's team) took on Mosley, they went with a better (known) name, possibly more money ......

BEFORE:
- Even after the Floyd fight, some in this forum said Manny was still ducking Mosley. When they picked Mosley, they said why not Berto or Marquez? Now that Arum says Marquez may be next those same people are saying what's the point, Manny will smoke Marquez at 140+.

- When people heard Berto is a possible opponent for Manny, people were criticizing Berto with comments like
"I hope they don't pick Berto who is a HBO over-rated boxer",
"Wow, sure, who has Berto fought?",
"This Mosley would still beat Berto",
"lol, Berto is inexperienced and just fought B - C Class fighters."
"Not Berto, Manny is going to smoke Berto"
"Once Manny puts on the pressure, the inexperienced Berto will crack!"


I actually agree with some of the above but Berto is still young, has speed, power and undefeated BUT like I said, the Berto vs Mosley fight should have happened first to say, after Manny and Floyd, the winner of the Berto vs Mosley is the best WW available ...... that certainly would have cleared things up.

Mosley losing to the more defensive Floyd and Mora may not give enough of an indication that he can't beat a Berto who has holes and a suspect chin!

I guess we all have matured since we 1st became fans.I'm actually the complete opposite on this issue though.I remember when I was praising Manny for his many feats.Up until Margarito,that fight,that situation,the whole event had the stink of corruption all over it & that fight made me unbecome a fan of Manny.I always remember Margarito saying Arum promised him a fight with Manny long before it got signed.I remember Margarito not getting a liscense in Cali,but getting 1 in Texas.I remember how I felt after he got caught cheating & why did he get to fight the best fighter in boxing.It was that fight that made me not be a Manny fan.Yes we wanted him to fight Mosley,but that was when Mosley just smoked Margarito,but now??2 horrible fights later,**** that
