I just watched the replay without the hype and no sound. Morales beat that man fair and square and he didnt take much more punishment than Khan. Erik won rounds 5-10. I can not see how 116-112 is justified and I think the government should get involved with the corruption in boxing. I feel totally confident in calling that fight a robbery after watching it a second time.
you're trash if you believe so. it was a close fight that maidana soundly won on workrate and vicious body punching, had like 60+ body shots over morales' total of 21 or something like that. morales threw a couple of good one twos and had 2-3 good rallies that maidana fought back against, it was a valiant effort but be real.
You're watching it with Morales Love goggles on. Im sure any round that was close went to Morales.
Ive watched it twice and thats my opinion. Clean shots win rounds.

lmao, you got jokes. I watched the fight once, and NOT live, I knew what to expect, I knew what would happen and sometimes that helps you analyze rounds better and sometimes it doesn't; it could make you believe in the outcome that's to be, ya dig? But I didn't let that get to me...Anyways, I watched it, I had Maidana winning by atleast 2 rounds, but I was thoroughly impressed by Morales performance and it wasn't because of Max Kellerman's "awe"-ing and "OH"-ing in the background. Maidana won, fair and square.
Im serious as a ***in heart attack. I am far from cool with these ****ty decisions that have been happening this year alone. Morales hurt that man at more times than Khan did. It wasnt as pretty but Morales won pretty clearly to me. A draw for Maidana's aggression would have gotten much less reaction from me but 116-112, 8 to 4 is not an option.

i gave morales rounds 5 thru 10
Good card. There were some hard rounds to judge. To me 5-10 was easily Morales.

Do you MUTHA***AS have a mental blockage or something. Dont say anything to a man on a computer you wont say to their face is a good rule to follow. I only read the first line. The rest is a waist of your breath son. Be respectful and I'll do the same.
You'd have to give every close round to Morales to score it that way. I feel the same way about scoring it 8-4 for Maidana, that has to be a lot of close rounds you're giving to Maidana.

I can be very humble. And honestly from these responses I was thinking "let me watch it a third time". So far there are 3 that think 8-4 was a shot to **** card.

I thought Maidana won the first four and the last 2. Rounds 5-10 were a tussle with Morales having his best moments in stints of the rounds. That said, i can see how maidana may have won 2 of those rounds on two cards. He wasnt dominating Maidana the way Maidana was dominating him in the early rounds. Still, it was a good effort for an over the hill legend who had 1 eye and was supposed to be getting knocked out.
Either Morales has more left than everyone thought, or Maidana isnt the animal that i thought he was. If the latter is the case, what does that say about the likes of Victor Ortiz, who was out-willed by the half way point of his fight with Maidana; and Amir Khan who almost got knocked out by Maidana and spent the last 2 rounds of their fight hitting the legs.
