The argentinian commentators saw it 115-114 in favor of Narvaez, and if you have a history of watching argentinian boxing, they have a history of giving those strange 10-10 rounds every time a round is close(according to them).

Thats enough to know who really won his fight.

The only thing there is to complain about is the margin of two of the scores, but the right man won. 115-112 for Narvaez is pretty much how most of us unbiased viewers had it.

Seda lost period and Narvaez proved to be the better man tonight. I'm Puerto Rican and I was ok with seeing Narvaez given the decision. He was the better man tonight. Do I think Seda can beat him? Hell ****ing yeah I do but tonight I think if the fight was in Vegas, Puerto Rico or elsewhere, what I saw was Narvaez win a close decision and we shoulda seen better scorecards like: 115-112 or a 114-113 on all judges scorecards. It's not a robbery when the fight is as close as that one. I had Narvaez 7 rounds to 5 (maybe 6-6 but Seda had a point deducted which still gives Narvaez the edge).

Now, when you see 2 judges score a fight like that at 117-110, then you quickly jump to think that there was no way Seda was going to the win on points even if he was going to give Narvaez a clinic. That I know is what upsets alot of my countrymen but we cant discredit Narvaez for his performance tonight. He won a close fight IMO. Both men deserve respect though.

I had picked Seda to win but I had it, I think, 115-111 or 115-112 for Narvaez, who boxed very well under pressure and, IMO, made Seda miss a lot. The 117-110 scores were a little wide.
I knew some Seda supporters would call it a robbery if it went the distance because the fight was in Argentina, but the right guy got the verdict, no matter where the fight was held.
Seda will be back and give anybody 115-118 lbs hell. Narvaez is almost 36 and I can't imagine he will be around much longer, but I have to give him credit for beating a young lion like Seda at this point in his career

Good post.Hopefully this ends the talk of Narvaez being a bum.

And I rate Seda after this fight. He fought well at times and he has a future.
