Contact lenses for sparring

Going back this weekend but last time my vision was still pretty good, would you recommend wearing them? Is it dangerous to wear during sparring? I can pretty much have a shower with them on as long as I try not to get much in my eyes, what about being punched in the face?

You just have to be careful. Ive gotten them knocked out from a light jab, there's really nothing you can do to prevent it. If I don't wear them Im pretty much blind. Im going to get lasik pretty soon

I wear contacts during sparring. I've never had a problem, apart from the odd time when they've been knocked slightly out of position

it can't possibly be worse than wearing glasses or not being able to see clearly at all

Well my eyes are -2.0 and -1.75, can probably do it without it but I rarely leave the house without them anymore.

The sweat makes them stick to your eyes just like when you're taking a shower with them on.
