Tbh I just want him to fight and a fight with Maidana is better than no fight at all.

I know what he said. But i'm saying, Maidana is a top 140 guy. Katsidis can't even beat the top 135 guys and he wants to him go up in weight to fight a top guy there.

Sure the fight would be an all out war, everybody lands their highest percentage on Katsidis, and Maidana is no Willie Pep. But don't you think it's abuse to ask for that? To then hear the discrediters say "oh Katsidis was too small afterall, he should go back down to 135",

Floyd would destroy him in his sleep.

And if they fought at 154 or even 147 it would only be more humiliating for Maidana.

But, this Maidana has not done anything to earn a shot a Money, so it aint going to ever happen.

I honestly think Maidana would get his ass kicked by the best 147 pounders. He would lose his power advantage, and his lack of boxing skills would only be more prominent.

With all those wild punches and his horrible accuracy, Floyd would love to fight Maidana to train his counterpunching skills.

Everyone with an agenda will defend anything, it wouldn't make it right though. If Floyd is looking for a tune up fight that's fine, fight on HBO but that ain't going to happen. Right now I think all these fights being thrown out there are idea's and everyone is paying real close attention to what sticks.

After the Spadafora idea was thrown around it was shut down real quick after all the backlash, then it was Guerrero and now Maidana. I'm not against Floyd fighting a tune up fight but it should be against a Welterweight at least and not someone coming off a loss and a life and death struggle against a fighter passed his prime.

Cotto/Berto vs. Ortiz winner/Collazo/Mike Jones wouldn't be bad tune up fights. Floyd would be at least a 5-1 favorite against any of these guys, no need to fight a guy who is a 10-1 dog.

And yes Pac vs. Mosley is crap because of what Arum was saying just a little while before making the fight how Shane is washed up. Once Shane jumped ship they changed their tune and are now selling it like Pac hasn't fought any black American fighters so this fight makes sense. It's a nice spin job for people that don't pay attention but we the hardcore fans know better.

Floyd is turning into the Bigfoot of boxing. He's rarely seen, he picks his prey, and everbody wants a piece of him..as long as he's not around.

This isn't a bad fight at all. Better than Pac-Mosley in my opinion.
