It has been 20 years and some of you still get over the fact that Tyson got his a$$ handed to him by Blubber Douglas. He was 24 years old in his prime and Tyson came into the fight weighing 220 so he couldn't have been that under trained. And the facts are Blubber Douglas was the first fighter that showed up and was not scared stiff of Tyson before he even entered the ring. And he really showed how easy it was to beat Iron Mike because all you had to do was back him up. Because he really was not a very good fighter while backing up. And if anything Buster's mother had just died so he should have been the one that was a little distracted. And if Blubber Douglas could back Iron Mike with his jab, and Wlad has one of the best jabs in the history of the sport, what do think could have happened? By the way I watched the fight in real time and remember the a$$ whooping Tyson got as as clear as if it was yesterday.

byrd who's around 5'11 wore out vitali & made him miss shot after shot. bryd weaved vitalis punches (getting low) & he came up the top nicely with shots of his own......a prime 88 tyson (when he was being trained by the right people) would have taken vitalis head off....

vitali doesn't know what he's doing on the inside. vitali needs space & his jab MUST land. tyson would be weaving that jab & exploding insanely quick with hard shots.

You always have to give Tyson a punchers chance in his prime but that's where it stops.. The brothers would beat Tyson.. If Tyson could never beat evander what makes you think he can beat the brothers... These Russians are hella good, Tyson was solid but a very flawed fighter cuz of his size..
