    Saturday: Lewis-Ruddock revisited

REMEMBER WHERE YOU HEARD IT FIRST!!!!

When Sam Peter demolishes Wlad on Saturday, it will be reminiscent of Lennox Lewis' "Coming-Out Party" vs. Razor Ruddock....a dominant, shockingly easy KO by the young up & comer, against the power punching, crystal chinned contender

only difference, it'l take 3 rounds instead of 2

I don't really see the comparison to be honest, Lewis was a skilled puncher boxer, Peter is no lennox lewis, and while Ruddock hit very hard, he's also no as skiled as Wlad.

I'm referring to the IMPACT of the victory, not the styles of the fighters or the odds on the fight....

We'll be hearing from Lamps & Merch that "we have a GREAT NEW HEAVYWEIGHT on the scene!!!"

it may happen but not likely. peter isnt 6'5 with a fast crip straight right hand. He'll be punching up and as long as wlad stays tall,,peter will lose some power over the arc. comparing peter to lewis is like comparing a fat goldfish to a piranna

wow did you really just say ruddock had a bad chin? i dont see how you could say that after the 2 tyson fights. i still dont know how he went the distance the second time, and in the first he took some bombs also.

anyway i agree that peter will destroy him and i have picked 3 also.

peter will knock this *** cold once and for all.

I believe Tyson dropped Ruddock on at least 4 occasions in their 2 fights, and this is after Tyson had lost the title and lose a lot of snap in the punches and his technique was fading....Mike basically softened Ruddock up, & Lennox finished the job....

still, guys, I'm comparing the IMPACT OF VICTORY, not the styles of the fighters or their height or attributes, I just think that we'll all be ridin' the Peter bandwagon after this Saturday, just like everyone did on Halloween '92 with Lennox

the comparison of that fight and this one was really good with the young guy destroying the veteran, but i just completely disagree that russock had a bad chin.

yes he was knocked down lets see i think twice in the first fight and twice in the second, but it wasnt just one shot out of no where it was an accumulation of shots, and tyson had his power up until he retired, well maybe not the mcbride fight but atg least up until williams, so definitely then

I dont think Wlad has the one punch power in right hand that Lewis did. Ruddock had a good chin. He was getting smacked around good by Tyson. None of the **** seemed to bother him. he got hit by a good Tyson overhand right and went down smiling. When he fought Lewis though he reallly got cracked with a right and was down for the count, I was thinking to myself. "Well he isn't smiling now."

Anyhoo, I still Wlad will win by stoppage. Probably between the 5th and 8th rounds.
