Haven't you learned on why it is in Vegas?? Tax issue. Plus, Vegas is where the majority of all the major big fights in the U.S. happen. Personally, it's fair for the fight to happen in the east but it is what it is.

not saying that tax isnt an issue....but there didnt seem to be a tax problem when cotto fought foreman at yankee stadium. cotto vs marg at yankee stadium could prob draw 22,000-25,000 ppl...maybe even more with HBO 24/7.

i wish it was at yankee stadium but whatever i'm just glad the fights happening...a long 3 years in the making.

Cotto vs Margs will make a ton of more money than that fight. Hence more money = more taxes.
