Lol, did I just read De La Hoya's intelligence level compared to Bill Gates? DLH is the dumbest promoter in boxing. The only reason his company is still going is because he has full backing of HBO due solely to their loyalty to him as a fighter. Without HBO they'd be out of business with him as their figurehead.

I know for sure Bill Gates would never kill a relationship with a business partner that he could make the most money with, as De La Hoya did with Top Rank in one simple blog lying about Manny Pacquiao's punching power and accusing him of being on PEDs.

He also would never **** a 15 year old girl in a country where everybody knows his face. Do I even have to mention he wouldn't be caught dead being photgraphed in fishnets?

It might be because they were getting a lump sum of cash (around 300K or whatever) no matter what. As long as they get paid, that's pretty much all they care about. Hearn is right though, and he has a right to belittle Team Khan and GBP for showing promotional incompetence. I thought all that stuff was financially secured and couldn't be changed once contracts signed but I guess not...

No contract maker in a business so fraught with uncertainty as boxing, would ever make a contract which would not provide an escape clause, which would allow the contractor to escape his agreement with the contractee, if certain conditions were not met.

Thse conditions obviously included the undercard. in other words, "No show,,No dough".

I don't think his education level would be connected directly to his IQ. I suppose he passed his High School graduation (but I don't know) which, due to the massive numbers of sub-par intelligent children there, has been lowered to accomodate and include kids who otherwise make it. He might have been one of these kids, I really don't know, and he might have been above average, I still don't know.

But, from the way he has been behaving, the messes he gets himself into, the legal ******ities he tries to pull, etc. he might be around the very low normal IQ, about 90 or so, or high moron status , which is around 80-90 IQ.

He was a good boxer though.
