I think it was mainly done just to get roberts name in the media associated with Floyds and nothing more. Not that they wouldn't take the fight if it was offered.

If Floyd ever fights Manny, He'd be dumb to fight a prime Manny right after over a year of inactivity and light activity over the last few years. Floyd has fought twice since his first "retirement" and Pacquiao has fought 6 times.

Pacquaio has could possibly blow Floyd out the water if Floyd doesn't warm up a bit.

Yes I know Sugar Ray did it, but Floyd isn't the same kind of fighter Sugar Ray is and Manny is more dominate than even Hagler was in my opinion.
