    Mosley vs Marquez @ Lightweight..

How do you see Mosley vs Marquez playing out at Lightweight ? a prime lightweight mosley with awesome power with his over hand rights and sharp left hooks ... vs Marquez with his Counter Punching and deadly uppercuts and ring generalship ...

Marquez isn't at his best at lightweight, Mosley was. Mosley by KO, if Floyd could knock him down, Mosley could, and Mosley would finish him

Mosley was a beast at lightweight. Too fast, too powerful for JMM. Lightweight isnt even JMM's best weight.

Mosley by stoppage in a good fight that's never in doubt.

A prime Mosley would murder and KO JMM. JMM is not even a LW because he's a small LW and LW is not his best weight class.

Marquez is dominating the deep lightweight division at the moment, but he is still having competitive bouts. He was dropped and rocked badly against Katsidas in his last outing before putting together a spectacular performance and display of combination punching to score a stoppage (i believe it Katsidas kept his head movement and punched his way inside instead of walking inside as he started to do in the later rounds he could have found a way to win). He also had a very close bout with Juan Diaz in their first encounter before doing the same thing and scoring a knockout in the FOTY.

Shane Mosley on the other hand won the IBF belt by defeating the undefeated Phillip Holiday and then took on all comers in his 8 fights defending that strap, all victorys coming by knockout. He was at his best at lightweight, Marquez was probably at his best at feather and could probably make 130 still at a stretch. Mosley would feed him at lightweight.

Mosley drags every LW of this era. Yes that includes yall 2 lord & saviors. Shane was a different monster before the first brass boy fight. In the fight with brass boy he got the taste of a 12 war & fell in love with it. Before then dude jabbed better, foot work was better, just all around better. If he was able to stay there he could easily be the best LW in history.

The bearing being that a Welterweight Floyd doesn't hit as hard as a lightweight Mosley
