The heavier he is, the harder he falls.

He'll be bigger but he'll always have the same heart.

I expect for his foot speed to be faster since he doesn't have to kill himself on the bike prior to fight night to lose 15 pounds, and rehydrating 10-12 pounds heavier on fight night. I expect for Ortiz to be able to take heavier shots and deliver slightly heavier shots of his own. What I also expect is for his hand speed to remain the same, but I can also see him throwing more volume punches being at a more suitable weight class. Roach has recommended for Ortiz to move up as well after watching him get beat by Maidana. What do you expect?
He re-hydrated 16 pounds in his last fight.

IDK this is very interesting, I am not going to write Ortiz off just because he panicked in his first tough test at 22 and quit against Maidana 2 years ago. It was a learning experience he is older now and does have the tools to beat Berto who has shown plenty of natural ability but no boxing IQ at all, clumsiness, and ability to he hit by much much slower opponents.

I feel the same way. He has quit written on his face and all that "new me" BS is going to collapse once the heat is turned up. Berto TKO 4.

I think he was young when he fought Maidana and I think that was a good experience for him. He has all the tools to be able to beat berto, and i am hoping he can put it together and pull off the win. I will be pulling for him.

Lets not forget Berto hasn't exactly fought murderers row of competition.

                  he will be beaten
nothing wrong with this fight, but not a special fight either
Berto wins, just another ho hum victory
Ortiz wins, not a major upset either
expecting Berto to break him down stop him in 7-9
