Carolina – Fue una candente conferencia de prensa para anunciar el cartel Rivalidad Máxima, que se celebrará este sábado en el coliseo Rubén Rodríguez de Bayamón.
Pero no fue porque los estelaristas del cartel, Juanma López u Orlando Salido se hayan ido a las manos o insultado.
Fue por la reacción que tuvo López, el invicto campeón de las 126 libras de la OMB, ante unos comentarios que realizara Wilfredo Vázquez Jr al portal ESPNDeportes.
“A mí no me gusta desviarme ni darle promoción a nadie, pero quiero que los medios escuchen lo que voy a decir. Wilfredo Vázquez Jr., según ESPNDeportes hizo unos comentarios bien fuertes sobre mí”, dijo López en la parte final de su turno en el podio. “Que si boto sapos y culebras por la boca. Que la arrogancia se metió en mi familia y se metió en mí. Que él es calle y que las cosas las arreglamos en la calle. Que mi grupo de trabajo es un chorro de mediocres”.
“Quiero decirle a Wilfredo Vazquez Jr, que lamento que no esté aquí porque me hubiera gustado decírselo de frente, que si mi equipo de trabajo son mediocres los de él son más mediocres porque mi equipo de trabajo te hizo campeón del mundo”, agregó refiriéndose a sus promotores los hermanos Peter e Iván Rivera y a Bob Arum.
