I never said Haglers wins were superior in quality, but he has more wins over top competition.

Both Marquez fights were controversial, and Morales was clearly past prime and coming off of a domination loss from an average fighter.

Pacquiao's win over Barrera is better than any win Hagler has though imo.

Whitaker, Hagler, and Pac are hands down the top 3 greatest southpaw of all time.

There are no other southpaws that you can put ahead of those 3.

Now Whitaker IMO is the greatest southpaw EVER. And, I think a top 20 P4P ATG.

I think Hagler or Pac can be debatable for #2.

I don't agree he fought more top competition. He beat everybody in his division. He dominated it for years. It's hard to compare moving up smaller divisions with that really. I just think Pac has beaten better competition now through the weight classes.

Pacquiao has better quality wins, but Hagler beat more top competition is all Im saying.

Pacquiao has eh about 11 or so wins over top competition, while Hagler had about 20.

but certainly Pacquiao's jumping around weight is a very legitimate argument, as is his bigger wins, particularly over Barrera.

It'll be pretty clear who was the best Southpaw of all time when Pac retires.

Fighters only ever get their due when they retire.

Sweet Pea by far, Pac has moved up in weight, but those wins are suspect. He still won, which of course means something, But does he beat a prime DLH? Mosley? Hatton was a KO waiting to happen and complete style mismatch, Along with Clottey and Marg, And I personally don't think The Cotto fight is the same outcome pre Marg beat down. But he has the wins and that's all that matters. But Sweet Pea was raw my god, Him and Floyd would be the ultimate chess match.
