    Pacquiao on Japanese TV

My Japanese friend just showed me this. Niiice.

    - Manny was just in Japan this January and has friends there. Winchell Campos from Team Pac says he's doing charitable events that won't get too much media coverage since it's not about the exposure.

Can you ask your Japanese friend what the media's reaction was to Ishida's win?

Prior to the Gonzalez/Hasegawa fight starting, they also showed a bunch of gloves and other boxing related stuff that they I'm guessing were auctioning. And amongst them were gloves signed by Pacquiao that they highlighted, so I guess this vid might've been connected to that.

But man, Pac sucks at showing emotion when he's speaking another language.

I asked him this too. There hasn't been any big media reports on it, aside from a couple articles. The fact that he was a last minute unknown for an undercard in the United States probably has a lot to do with it. Perhaps Ishida's not back in Japan for media coverage? I don't know.

They showed that during the Hasegawa/Nishioka/Ao tripleheader, just before the Nishioka-fight. De La Hoya also had a message, I think that was a really nice gesture. Ganbare Nippon!
