I too find them pointless in most cases...all they do is prolong the inevitable if according to plan. I agree the Hopkins/Tito/Joppy/Holmes series made sense since it delt with unifying the division with the top 4 guys in the division at the time. But stuff like Joe C and Ashira. Blah.
