I said it. I seen approx 10 Ishida fights, I saw 3 of his defeats which in my opinion he won, and that goes for his last defeat to Canelo's brother last year. It's a nice stay busy fight for Martinez, Ishida should be a step up from his last opponent Dzinzurik.
His record's misleading, he got a decent chin and never been knocked out. Martinez could change all that but I say it goes the full 12 rounds.
Paul Williams beat Martinez in the first fight, Ishida will be a better tactician than Williams was in that fight, and he's around the same height. He'll give Martinez some problems and won't allow himself to get caught so easily with crazy power shots like Williams did in the rematch.
Williams tried to blast out Martinez like he did in the Quintana rematch but those were the exact tactics Martinez had the gameplan for. Williams didn't pick up on that and just kept rushing in.
Ishida gets beat by Martinez and Williams (if he sticks to boxing), because of their speed, conditioning and output, but he goes 12 with them both and gives them a decent fight IMO.
