Im not really talking about those types of numbers. Im talking about talent. Jmm>any rican boxer currently.
And people discredit the calderon loss but i remember how every thought calderon who out box him. And even know people say calderon could beat any one except segura yet he is shot and old how does that work?
As for marquez lopez its was a mismatch going in and if a rematch is made its even more bull. Calderon is very old come on 37 but he chose to fight segura, and like a man chose to fight again, and afterward gave no excuse except segura is too powerful (not an excuse, its props) People will always say how there man will do this and that, but they are speaking with emotion. As far as calderon is concerned, Talent wise I am not sure there has ever been a purer master of the art of boxing from either PR or Mexico....but if you ever ask someone, they hate him, because of his style. But the man mastered the art of boxing (hit and don't get hit) and the average opponent he faced is 4 inches taller than him, and he at 37 yrs old just lost his first pro fights......what other boxer can say that ? None the less most people will argue that to death, but those are the facts. There i no definitive answer as to who is better. I know JMM beat Pacman twice, but try to convince the rest of the world that! LOL

Bottom line, any fan of boxing understands that 36 in this sport is OLD. Regardless of "wars" or not. So if you wanna scream Viva Mexico on this one, be my guess but seriously, keep it in perspective kid. Not true at all bro.....Arg, JAP, GER, BRITS, Have huge numbers of boxers, just few that are good or at least receive exposure. ALL Do also have way more people period, not say couple hundred thousand, but hundreds of millions more. He goes about it the wrong way, but pr literally has less than 4 million people to be 3rd place in the entire world for number of world champs is phenomenal, but its just 1 more stat. As far as other countries are concerned, none touch PR and Mexico.

China and India has Billions of people and they suck at sports Uruguay has less then 4 million and have 2 world cups but that doesn't make them better then Brazil and there are more Ricans in the U.S (Millions more)

DO NOT TWIST MY WORDS OR GET IT TWISTED!!!! Calderon lost to young hungry lion. I am a fan of Segura because of it! The fact that Calderon fought people that much bigger and stayed undefeated, eliminates size as an excuse in Segura's case. I personally felt Calderon's have been numbered for a while. Again it is in your opinion in regards to the great finito. OPINIONS! I never said calderon was too small (check my post) I said segura was too powerful period.
