Urango and Berto have nothing to do with this, Berto was never a 140lber who recently moved up and yes Dzinziruk was dominant in his weight class and is still one of the best fighters there, crazy what a massive difference a couple lbs made in ppls perception of the fight.

Manfredo is broke, good to see Dibella is looking to get him paid.

dzinziruk was dominant? have you seen his fights? his most notable fights were a close win over santos, a close win over julio and a gift decision over konecy. what's so dominant about that? the guy was a lower top 10 junior middle weight. martinez beating him at 160 is a great win? don't think so.

How do you duck an unproven boxer? Manfredo could upset Pirog

What is with the nobodies getting title shots? I guess DiBella really likes Manfredo.

Actually many had him rated at the top of the division as Santos was when he beat him and lol @ close decision over Julio.

Its a very solid win over and unbeaten world champion, anyway you try and spin it its a good win.

it's a win over a guy in a smaller weight division. a guy who was rated 8th in that division and hadn't beaten anyone in the top ten in years. beating dzinziruk would be a solid win for a 154 pounder but dzinziruk is not the kind of fighter who can transcend weight classes.

dzinziruk is 35 and wanted to cash out so he demanded a huge purse and another fight on hbo. not sure why you would give this guy that much when you could just make a fight with pirog who's actually a top middleweight but sometimes you gotta cave in to get the mismatches you want. if ishida demands a million dollars he's liable to get it! if pirog demands something reasonable like 4 or 500k? **** him!!!!!

Manfredo is a tough journeyman who has fought for a title, not to mention the guy is a natural 168 pd fighter.who has the Pirog kid even beat a fellow prospect in Jacobs.
