I can see Ortiz pulling the upset.

I still can't get behind all the hype that is Berto, I have a feeling he will be the next Jeff Lacey. Maybe he'll end up proving me wrong and give us a great war with Ortiz.

I think Ortiz definitely has more power than Collazo. Ortiz has great power in both hands. I am rooting for him to beat Berto on Saturday.

Ortiz was 22 on the night he headlined a card against Maidana; people tend to not consider that. I like to believe that he will finally get back in the spotlight with a win against Berto. However, if he wins, I expect to hear the "Berto never beat anybody anyway" argument.

Vic is one of my favorites, and I'll be pulling for him. Good man, with a good heart.

This would be an awesome win for Ortiz on the road to redeming himself from that maidana fight, which has until this point really put a strain on his career. And It would be a great win for Berto, cause Ortiz is a good boxer and to this point probaly the best he has faced regardless of what people say about Ortiz being a LW. I can see them trading knockdowns in this one and then a stoppage.

Berto has shown he has heart in his war with Collazo and when hurt, he is willing to dig deep and fight back. Ortiz has yet to show that kind of intestinal fortitude. The way he quit against Maidana was really bad and what he said in the interview afterward really hurt his image. People want fighters to say "I will go out on shield, they will have to kill me, etc." which came from guys like Fernando Vargas and Antonio Margarito. Maybe Ortiz will bite down hard when the going gets rough and dig deep. It hasn't been a problem on his comeback because nobody took him there so we don't know yet. I think we might find out answers to that question on Saturday. Personally, I don't like one fighter over the other and I could care less who wins, I just hope to see a good fight and may the best man win...

Victor Ortiz is my friend since high school I got mad love for him. Good guy. With that being said Andre Berto knocks him out less than 9 rounds. I'll be rooting for my boy Vic but **** Berto I'll beat that n!gga when I come up the ranks. PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT

duhhhh don't bet fake messageboard internet "points" or whatever. bet your house on it! not because berto is a great boxer or anything. not because ortiz sucks.

but come on man A) 147 B) Maidana C) LaPete = he is not going to win this fight. a few years from now? after a couple of fights at 47 maybe. but now???? it's not going to happen.

                    this.
that's exactly how i feel man. as long as both put their hearts into their performance on saturday, and it's a great fight, i'll be pleased with this fight. hopefully a confident ortiz shows up hungry for that belt. i could see it going the distance and getting a nod from either guy, and i could see it ending in a stoppage by either guy....any which way, i hope it turns out great....i would green K you if i could, but i need to spread some more around, haha.
