This has been repeated in other British newspapers, like The Daily Mail. They explicitly state Sky does not really care that he has moved, and plans on carrying Khans future matches if they are good, such as the Bradley one.

Khan is making more money from fighting on Primetime than he would've made from fighting on free Sky TV. It's all about money. Its that SIMPLE. I don't see why ******s like you find this SO HARD to understand. Actually I do, since FerdinandMarcos comes across as a mentally ******ed little boy.

Wow, people seem to be in an uproar about this. It's only McCloskey, for Christ's sake! I don't even know who the hell he is. The thing is the fight will be shown in the U.S. on free HBO, so it will be available to lots of viewers over here. If this were Khan vs. Bradley, that would be different. But this is a showcase for Khan to look good and dominate so if nobody sees it in the U.K., so what! This fight will not help or diminish his popularity, it's a glorified tune up, plain and simple which is why it's shown as a tape delay undercard to Berto vs. Ortiz on HBO (which Berto vs. Ortiz seems like a mismatch but both are bigger names than McCloskey). If/when Khan fights Bradley, that will be picked up by Sky PPV and people will watch...

How the hell could you call it a smart move? This is not a must see fight that people will go out of their way to see. I agree with Hearn, Khan should have made good out of a bad situation and just tried to get as many viewers as possible.

ITV would have gathered more viewers if thats so important, SKY 3 requires an additional subscription. This is business, I think it's clear that this not a charity event, Hatton didnt fight for peanuts why would Khan?

I don't know, first the Ariza debacle now this sky sports crap. From the out side looking in, it seems like khan needs a better team around him. Dudes got enough to worry about inside the ring without the constant distractions outside it. With a chin as suspect as his, he's one more good ko away from having his career screwed up permanently this time.
