Perro is a bad dude! He asked for a rematch with Cintron. He lost oh well, it was a close decision. Everyone knows Cintron is no bum, that dude can punch, one of the hardest punchers in boxing today.

I don't understand how Kirkland took Julio's punches if that Colombian is a straight power-bomber. Maybe kirkland was caught cold? Who knows.

                  Perfect punch, it happens.

I'm not making an excuse for El Perro but even Max Kellerman BEFORE the fight said that he was really, really sick and didn't look right leading up to the fight.

I think you could see it in his effort early on in the fight, he just didn't come out the way he normally does. If they fight would have been 2 more rounds, he KO's Cintron, he had him out in the last round.

Wow, now that I see what put Kirkland down I question his health, more than his chin...

Those in the know, what's the effect of consecutive fights like this on thew body? What's the minimum recuperative period recommended?

He seemed more weak, than KO'd... I'm hypoglycemic so I can tell when someone is not right, I know it happens to me, most of the time I'm normal and have energy to spare but if the glucose levels drop you can't really do anything about having to lie down, a fly would drop you in that scenario...

I'm not saying it was anything related to blood sugar levels, I;m wondering if he was overworked etc. I'm not a Kirkland fan just trying to see the possibilities behind this failure.

According to Kirkland it was the opposite, he said he didn't have a good camp and under trained for the fight.

If he was in grueling wars, then I would agree but he hasn't gotten out of the 2nd round since Joel Julio so I don't think it affected him in the least.
