For those American fans who are finding this Amir Khan-Sky Sports situation confusing

Basically Sky Sports is a subscription based channel. The same as HBO is a subscription based channel. Now Amir Khan was scheduled to have his fight on Sky Box Office which is the equivalent of having it on HBO PPV over in the states.

After the collapse of the undercard, Sky Sports decided to take it off Sky Box Office (so it is no longer PPV), and put it on Sky Sports 3. This is the equivalent of a fight on HBO PPV taken off and shown on its 'World Championship Boxing' (WCB) banner, so you no longer have to pay the PPV price to watch it, as it is now shown on its normal HBO channel(s).

Just so you guys didn't get confused, i thought i'd clear this up. Say for instance if saturdays HBO card had broken down and the only fight remaining was the main event (between Morales and Madaina). This no way warrants to be on PPV so Its like HBO taking the fight off PPV and putting it on under WCB. Thats basically what happened to Khan.

    Hope i haven't confused anyone.

Difference is that Sky moved it to Sky Sports 3, and not Sky Sports 1.

So it's not like HBO WCB, it's more like ESPN Friday Night Fights.

            NO IT IS NOT!

You obviously DO NOT have subscription to Sky Sports.

(Dont listen to him guys, he doesnt have a clue about British TV)

From the headlines today, it looks as if Sky is no longer interested in airing Khan-Bradley. Is this because Khan turned down his April fight airing on Sky 3, or because they are unhappy with Khan Promotions and the way they've handled this event?

I have all three of em. But obviously no.2 and no.3 get less viewers. It's probably like ITV1, ITV2 or ITV3. ITV1 gets the most viewers.
