I agree. They do this with all "celebrities" I know, but at least other "celebrities" also get positive and/or indifferent press coverage as well.
The UK press/media do nothing to support or promote boxing yet they invade the privacy of the successful fighters to try and find dirt that they can use to sell papers. The double standards do make me angry so thats why I give a *****.
At the end of the day these boxers live in the UK and know the score with the press so they should be more careful. For the casual or passive fan it is a shame about the image of the sport they project.Comment

No, you're wrong. It's the cost of being in public life. What they say nowadays is OTHING to what they used to write and say openly about public figures, especially politicians, a hubdred years ago. It was unbelievable to read about.
The interesting thing is that the more libellous and scandelous the comments are, the more the perpetratrors (Newspapers) like it, because, true or not, it brings in buyers of papers, money etc. They all have special departments for handling libel cases filed against them. And they are as busy as can be.Comment
