Better Resume Floyd or Morales?

I did not criticize Mosley at all....I'm just saying that Barrera is greater than Mosley....whether Floyd fought him in his prime or not. You can't really put Jones in there coz he is just a good champion....he is not a HOF, just as you can't put Corrales.thats not how it goes...but whatever. and lets ignore the fact that zaragosa was at the tail end of his career rite? u cant criticize floyd for fighting mosely and then count zaragosa as a good win for morales...but hey, different rules apply to floyd.
best wins for morales are:
pacquiao
barerra
jones
next tier:
zaragosa
paulie ayala
jesus chavez(whom floyd beat first)
and carlos hernandez(whom floyd beat first.)
3 division champ. great resume, but still not better than floyds overall.
By greatness among their opponents it goes like this :
Pacquiao
Barrera
Oscar
Mosley
Marquez
Zaragosa
And if you are gonna start mention tail-end, that would be a devastating debate for Floyd.Comment

u can mention all the tail end fighters u want, the fact is still zaragosa is not a better win than a number of ppl on floyds resume. he was a hof fighter. but at the end of the day when matters more than who.I did not criticize Mosley at all....I'm just saying that Barrera is greater than Mosley....whether Floyd fought him in his prime or not. he fought 2 great fighters and a few really good fighters over 3 weight classes.
floyd has fought a bunch of really good and good fighters over 5 weight classes and is still undefeated. ppl seem to think that **** is easy. i dunno whats easy about it, even the great eric morales lost to frikkin zahir raheem.
but whatever, u wanna make these threads and argue, im all for it. i am more than capable of backing up everything i say.Comment

Thanks for mentioning Floyd's 5 weightclass achievements....I've forgotten about that, he is a 5 time champ at 5 weightclasses after all.u can mention all the tail end fighters u want, the fact is still zaragosa is not a better win than a number of ppl on floyds resume. he was a hof fighter. but at the end of the day when matters more than who.

^^This, but of course, this is a thread designed to be a place where a tard can be a tard.overall floyds career > erik morales and mab and jmm
he may not have the special fights etc. but he's achieved a hell of a lot more and he has fought the better overall competition. thats why hes ranked higher atg wise than all of them. but of course whether ppl in nsb choose to believe that is a question better left untouched.Comment

Not bad , but more than a little biased.
Fighting a prime Castillo who pretty much emulated Chavez was pretty dangerous and Floyd came out on top twice ( I thought Castillo should have won the first.) That's a pretty damn big accomplishment right there that goes overlooked. Taking Corrales "0" was another big one. Tie in the Manfredy ass whooping, i think he took Angels 0 too. Jesus Chavez too. Hatton too, although I always thought Hatton wasn't legit, being the first to knock him out was pretty big. The Gatti win wasn't that great TBH, people complain about Pac fighting Marg after the Cotto and Shane fights, Gatti was more damaged. At least Floyd put him out without getting scratched though. ****** Gatti fight plan. Beating Famoso and Goyo was also pretty big. People who didnt watch during those years dont know that Chavez, Goyo, Famoso were a gauntlet all their own and in their prime.
The Morales resume is nice but please, if it was really that great, during his prime he would have been ranked in the P4P higher than Floyd, which he never was.
Im a big Morales Fan and was a one time Floyd hater but to say that Morales resume is in any way better is just bull**** to try and pad Mannys win as better than it actually was and paint Manny in a better light now than Floyd which is bull**** too.Comment
