Good post! I was one of the few who said morales had a chance. and a chance he did. Great fight!

Give Morales 6 weeks to heal the eye...Negotiate the rematch...have a 10 week training camp and do it again! The fight doesn't need to happen immediately or in a rush but in a comfortable ASAP status for Morales. He isn't getting any younger.

He needs to get past maidana quickly in order to get bigger fights. Like he said before...The whole point of his comeback was to beat a top dog and by doing so take away everything his opponent has worked for. That would then put him on top where he was at before.

Props for the good call.

maidana wins the rematch by the way. he'll show up in better shape and go after erik with more respect and not tire himself out. erik still can only fight half a round, that won't change. maidana also has to demand he use his own gloves. that's bs morales is allowed to get away with that. happened in the barrera trilogy and the first pac fight. if pac or mayweather were doing it everyone would be calling them cowards. hate double standards
