Wow @ Khan still fighting after losing 80% of his purse!

Khan was supposed to make £1,250,000 now he's only making £250,000. Not many fighters would go ahead with a fight after losing 80% of their purse before the fight, through no fault of their own.

3/4 of the undercards were canceled on that show so the original broadcaster trashed the whole show! Even though he can talk too much sometime, I gotta respect Khan for still going ahead with that fight when he's taking a major hit to the pocket like this.

If that happened to Mayweather, Pacquiao, Klitschkos, Haye.. the show would be instantly canceled. Khan's gotta be respected for going through with the fight. You know what I mean? Takes a true fighter to lose that amount of money before a fight and still go ahead with it.

Khan got my respect by still fighting. Most boxers would cancel.

80% loss aint nothing. Most boxers would still fight anyway.

he should cancel for only 250k, considering how much he can make elsewhere.
Cancel then make the fight with Bradley.

yes, Khan aught to be called out for that. i'm sure that his fans would appreciate his dedication.

but i don't think this would EVER happen to either Pac or Floyd. Their names are just so big and any fight they would participate in would be too heavily invested for their promoters to allow any form of distractions to derail it.

He knows hes going to win. More Exposure and stay busy. He's already 98 percent done with his training camp at this point. Canceling the fight would only do harm.

          Either way respect.

This isn't a big deal because it has happened so close to the fight. He would have certainly canceled if it happened a lot sooner. He has to recover the training and travel costs. Plus 15K people have already bought tickets and the Irish fans will be traveling so he can't piss those fans off

It's just a tuneup to stay busy and give the fans in England a fight, since Khan's focusing his career in America right now. 250,000 pounds isn't too shabby for an easy fight.

It would be embarrassing if he cancelled his own (Khan Promotions show) its also embarrassing for Hatton and his promotional team as they were given a big chance to sell this fight and blew it.
