sorry submited by mistake. What i was going to say was that this is a very intresting site to check out fighters records. I found some very obscure fighters on it. Guys i remember watching when I was young in some butler building fight. Also, this sight will tell you of the record of the opponent at the time the guy fought him. I researched some fighters, and I noticed that most of these fighters fights alot of bums for a long time. However, the fighter whose record impressed me the most was Marvin Hagler, he seemed to fight fighters with pretty decent records early in his career. On another note... if any one remembers a fighter named Jose Louis Ramirez, he fought the likes of Mancini, Chavez, Rosiario, Whitaker, to name a few. I was always impressed with his record. A hundred and something fights, most victories, mostly knockouts....then I noticed that his first "45" fights, he had only fought 2, yes 2 guys who at the time had more than "1" fight. That is simply ridiculous. Just goes to show you that you can't neccesarily judge any fighter by his record. A 50-0 record might not be as impressive as a 20-5 record that was fought against better competition. Anyway, If anyone else knows of any fighters that have similiar padded records, i'd be intrested in hearing. -
guys like Rydell booker, Artur Gregorian, and Gerald Nobles have all been exposed as 'undefeated' guys who were destroyed when they fought decent (or in Nobles' case, the verdict is still out) opponents.
I looked at Rydell Booker's record and found a guy with over 200 losses. Clicked on that guy and found someone on his resume with a similar ring record. Both fighters are still active.
Kali Meehan fought one bum 4 times - his record is ridiculously padded, check it out.Comment
