Ortiz is primarily a puncher. I keep hearing that he is a great boxer but I am yet to see it. I think he has poor defense and isn't that good at winning rounds. I don't see him winning decisions against any of the top guys so knocking out Berto is the only way I see him winning. Considering Ortiz has good power, it wouldn't surprise me if he did knock him out.

Also No Ceilings you mentioned that Ortiz's jab will give Berto trouble..........umm Ortiz has a horrible/nonexistent jab. All he does with his jab is touch the other guys glove. It is not to score points or do any damage.

It depends how serious Ortiz is about this fight.

If he is just there for the paycheck he is gonna get blasted. But if he actually cares I think he could pull this one out. Hopefully he is working on tightening up his D in camp tho

He was dropped against Quintana (unofficially), wobbled by Collazo slightly who is an average puncher. Estrada made him do a dance, and Rivera had him badly hurt and down.

Ortiz is a much more explosive puncher than any of these guys. Berto is still open for counter punches, still uses holding too much as a defensive technique.

He definitely has questionable heart, while I don't second guess Berto's. And Berto is fast and explosive. Either guy could get stopped, I like Ortiz though...
