Morales drinking Gatorade during fight? (is that aloud)

    There was another recent fight from the last couple weeks I noticed a fighter drinking gatoraide. Def not allowed typically, maybe there was some kinda agreement reached b4 hand.

      Yes it is alllowed, but you must ask and be approved by the commision

        i think that it was something that was in the contract.......gatorade is not much of a step up from water to be honest......

                    I noticed that too and wondered the same thing. They made such a big deal about Margarito and his tea that I figured this must have been illegal too.

                      It is allowed, it just depends on the commission and what is agreed to. Gatoraid is NOT a performance enhancing liquid.....

                      You can basically take a salt tablet and drink some water and it will have a similar effect. Gatoraid will replenish electrolytes and does have sugar but sugar might not be the best thing to take during a fight like that. It can have adverse effects as well.

                      Believe me, gatoraid isn't going to give you some magical help to do what Morales did, that was all heart.
