Yes, they are not the punchers glove that Reyes is but also Morales's punches would be harder if he wore Reyes too. Morales probably wanted those gloves so his face wouldn't get so sliced up but it ended up bad anyway. And yes Morales stunned maidana a few times with the pillow gloves so I don't know how much difference it really makes. Maybe Maidana would have gone down if morales was wearing Reyes. I think Maidana does have enough power that the gloves would not make much difference but he couldn't connect good enough.

ummmmm I'm not disagreeing but morales had the same gloves as Marcos and Morlaes had Marcos hanging on for life after a couple of those punches. You could say morales would have knocked him out if they were wearing punchers gloves. Food for thought.

Tha fuck are u talkin about, not once did I say Maidana would knock him out if he used different gloves. Nor am I downplaying Morales spectacular performance. I always knew Maidana is a crude slugger with power. It's just that after the fight, i remember Eaner's thread bout Morales saying Maidana needs to wear Winning's Gloves or no fight. To a hardcore fan like most of you guys, its Morales boxing skills that schooled Maidana but to heavy betters, its Morales boxing skills and what gloves, what size ring, weigh in, day of fight weigh in, training camp, distractions, etc.
