Apparently no can have off day, g0d forbid you do, these m0r0n here will call you a hype job and a glass jaw, how pathetic is that

there could number of reasons on why he lost, from a bad training training camp to being over-trained (that was his third fight in many weeks), Kirkland didn't look like himself

I for one will give the benefit-of-the-doubt and wait to see how he performs in his next fight.

even the best of fighter have a off day (not that I'm saying that kirkland is), so get a grip

I think Kirkland has hardly been training to be honest, it sounded like his training camp hadn't gone great. I'm not condoning the result at all he deserved to lose fair and square.

I'd say the biggest reason he lost was his opponent. Ishida while not a top light middleweight has been in there with decent opposition all the way and has never been knocked out. It was Kirkland's toughest fight up to date and he failed miserably.

I got a feeling that if the ref let it go on ,then Kirkland would of went down again. Was a shock result alright but fair play to Ishida, id say it was a legit stoppage.
Kirkland should try get a rematch at some point.
