By ducked, do you mean Marquez pulled out of a fight cuz of the flu, or a rolled ankle, or something like that?
There's some argument to be made that Marquez ducked Soto, but anyone else, naw.
Marquez is a living legend, and 100x the fighter your hero is.

However, as quoted above, you went back to generalizations... which I've experienced with you before. (i.e. all pac fans are...) You shouldn't make generalizations like that because they are simply untrue. Not all Pac fans are like that.
I understand you were annoyed by someone calling JMM, a living legend, a name like "pee drinker"... but that poster "mushashdeen" is clearly immature. Not to mention, he made at least a couple of invalid points. So I wouldn't waste much time with childish people.

Erik would no doubt catch JMM a few times and I can invision JMM hitting the canvas as he often does only to re-adjust his sights and make the necessary game-plan change to take over the fight. The Maidana fight was very similar to the first fight with Pacquiao for EM, which is why I think he took it. Erik knew that Maidana would fall apart and gas himself out (similar to Pac in 1st fight) and he would be able to pull on his ring education to take the Argentinian to school for the rest of the bout. Only problem was it's been several years since that fight and EM has a lot of wear and tear so he couldn't pull it off a 2x. In regards to a fight with JMM, it would be a war no doubt but JMM would work him out. Regardless of who ducked who, when and where. Today is now, and despite EM's courageous effort last night I still think he gets taken by Dinamita.Last edited by Proposition Joe; 04-10-2011, 11:39 PM.
