Marquez would kill him. He isnt maidana who always gasses in middle rounds or that misses most of his punches. Marquez is a sharp combination puncher with power in both hands. He has a good defence too. But it wont be a blast out bc marquez isnt that type of fighter that will blast you out he is like a surgeon and takes his time to dissect you.

He wouldn't do as well. Maidana has little defense and is not hard to hit. Marquez is a whole other problem.

yeah. ive never believed the hype behind maidana. he has power and pressures a lot and what not. dude gasses out like crazy and throws crazy punches, let alone isn't a superfast or defensive guy. marquez would counter and outbox him.
he would stop morales, and ud maidana. think about it, if kotelnik and khan can survive maidana, im pretty sure marquez can move up a bit in weight and do it too.

He might be put on his ass a few times but i think he stops maidana who has a questionable chin. If he buckes maidana like eric did i just see his combinations and uppercut ending maidanas night, not to mention he mixes it up to body well when he has his guy hurt.

Maidana will always be a very tough-hard nosed gatekeeper @140, IMO. There's nothing wrong with that and I do wish Maidana the best in his career.

Marquez however is a different breed. He is a world class fighter who will destroy Morales at this point. He's more accurate and throws way better combinations than Maidana.
