Morales vs Marquez at 140

He probably has a chance, he looked great tonight, but I'm curious to see Marquez vs Maidana, I think Marquez can possibly beat him.

I would favor Marquez because of his sharp counter punching.

JMM is harder to hit then wild man Maidana.

But Morales will always be a live dog.

marquez against guerrero or maidana would be a more interesting fight.

Marquez would kill him. He isnt maidana who gasses out or that misses most of his punches. He is an accurate combination puncher that would destroy eric.

I was surprised by Morales power at the weight and although he looked sluggish with his body movement, he still had great reflexes in rolling with the punches

Erik Morales is the man. Can he beat JMM? Probably not. But he can beat Maidana, especially if he has two eyes. That's pretty damn impressive in and of itself.

styles make fights. against an unskilled brawler like maidana, morales' skills, defense, and experience really helped him out, but against a guy with equal skills, defense, and experience and less wear-n-tear like jmm, he'd get beat up.
