The fight shows once again that Adamek can't punch at heavyweight. McBride was horribly slow and out of shape but was able to last the distance because of his size alone.

Andrew Golota? used to be good in his fights against guys like bowe, got hammered by brewster,tyson and lewis easily and thats considered a good win?

Vincent Maddalone?.....beat easily by holyfield and jean marc mormeck along with brian minto

Kevin Mcbride?....beat and hammered old tyson thats about it really who is he apart from that?

Michael Grant?.....whats he done since he lost to lewis in 2000 by a 2nd round TKO??

so no he has not beat anyone at heavyweight noteworthy except for arreola who can perform when he is in decent shape or condition.....so how do those wins earn him a shot at vitalis crown?

heavyweight unification bout that we all want to see and that haye has actually won a title like it or not in the heavyweight division something adamek has not done :-) and that haye will be more competitive against wladimir then his recent fights against guys like peter or chambers

Well, it wasn't nearly as good as the Maddalone fight.

McBride made it an ugly fight, Adamek was much too fast for him so Kevin resorted to a lot of mauling and wrestling.

And Adamek was mainly just trying to get some rounds in against an aggressive tall fighter before he fights a Klitschko.

And that would explain why Adamek treated McBride like a sparring secession? If that was the case why bother fighting McBride? Adamek was throwing a lot of pitty patty punches, Vitali uses his height and reach very well. Adamek has little power at HW and he has a small reach, I can't see Adamek winning.
