what's with the negativity? in light of everything that's happened to my country I'm glad he won. He exposed an unpolished fighter, Ishida is very good technically. Also, how he was robbed against Rigoberto alvarez, I'm glad to see how he knocked out that waste of space jailbird, kirkland. It was funny tho, he had to talk through his teeth because he couldn't stop smiling. it was hard understanding him because the stream and the fact that he was talking thru his teeth.

Ishida's jab was finding a home on alvarez's face the whole fight.He was landing cleaner shots. Ishida doesn't showboat.

Great win, hope to see more from him.. As for Kirkland his post fight attitude was ashame, dont expect to get knocked down 3 times in the first round and get mad at the ref for calling the fight.

i really really dont see this as that big of an upset. ishida is a very good fighter. no1 knew how good kirkland actually was. he shouldnt have underestimated ishida.
