EC Box Promotion, headed by Erol Ceylan, staged a big show on Saturday at the Sporthalle in Hamburg. Polish light heavyweight Gregor Soszynski won the WBC Mediterranean title with a close, majority decision over defending champion Geard Ajetovic from Serbia. It could have gone either way with Sozynski´s higher workrate against Ajetovic´s fewer but harder punches. It was scored 115-114, 116-113 and 114-114 in a tactical no-knockdown little drama affair.
