    So, so wrong.

    Morales= True warrior
    Being hideously wrong never felt this great before, though.

      for morales, damn! dude still has some left in him.
      Maidana is worth way more to the sport than Berto.

      Erik is just that amazing, period. Shot or not. He's so Great that he can be shot and still be Great even running on fumes of his Greatness. The man is immortal, he has inside him Blood of Kings, he has no rival and no man can be his equal.

      I doubted him before the fight, I'm certainly not going to doubt him or make excuses for it now.

      My word, that was incredible.

          All power is eventually shown to be overrated when it becomes a fighter's calling card.

          Maidana is still a monstrous puncher, Morales is just something else.

          When Morales kept his seat on the canvas in the dying seconds of his trilogy with Pacquiao, it was no more or less than a stubborn refusal to play 'their' game, a drained, cherrypicked Erik's realization that he'd been fully set up, no question over his heart or ability to rise and keep fighting.

          Not that he really needed to in any eyes but his own, but Erik redeemed that moment tonight.

          He knew the script this time and hijacked it, mentally prepared his answer -- just another reflection, and stubborn restatement, of that refusal to play 'their' game. The fans know who the true winner was, the truth is in the tape, Maidana blowing, missing, eating crisp hooks and crosses all night.

          Erik Morales just cannot be played.
